RIHS will be administering the PSAT/NMSQT during Fall Intersession on Wednesday, October 14th, at 8:00 a.m. Juniors and sophomores interested in taking the test can register in the Main Office with Mrs. Nevener. The cost is $18, and registration will be open August 17th through August 21st.
The PSAT/NMSQT is a great opportunity to practice for the ACT or SAT, get familiar with the testing experience, and potentially qualify for National Merit recognition and scholarships.

For all girls interested in playing basketball for the Lady Rocks this upcoming season, we will have open gyms on Mondays and Wednesday from 6-7:45 in the girls gym. If you can't come to one of those or you have any questions or need more information, please contact Head Coach Henry Hall at henry.hall@rimsd41.org. All skill levels are welcomed. Come be a part of the continued winning Tradition of Lady Rocks Basketball!

Girls golf will have tryouts for anyone interested in playing: 1. Snap needs to be completed 2. Physical turned in to Kyle Hoffman 3. Monday is at Highland Golf Course 4:00- 5:30 and Tuesday at Saukie Golf course from 4:00-6:00. If you have any questions please contact Coach Hudnall.

A special thank you to Dr. Sydney Morris, Chief Education Officer of Instruction with the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), for delivering an inspiring keynote that challenged us to continue putting scholars at the center of everything we do and to embrace the opportunities ahead.

The first day of school is just one week away! We can't wait to welcome our scholars back on Wednesday, August 5, for an exciting start to the new school year.
Please note that elementary schools will dismiss at 2:10 p.m., following the regular Wednesday early dismissal schedule.
