Drama Club is having its first informational meeting on Thursday, August 14 at 3:30pm in Room 146. If you want to get involved in plays and musicals as a performer or technician, stop in and meet us!
Are you interested in joining the boys' or girls' cross country teams at Rocky? Stop by Mr. J. Williams's classroom (303) after school on Thursday or Friday to get the information you need to join the team. Practices begin on Monday, August 11th.
Tryouts for boys soccer will be held on Monday August 11th and Tuesday August 12th. Sports physicals must be turned in and registering on Snap must be completed before you are able to try out.
Any girl interested in girls golf we will have tryouts on Monday Aug. 11th at Highland Springs Golf Course Driving Range 4-5:30pm and Tuesday Aug. 12th at Saukie Golf course 4-6 pm. If you have any questions please reach out to Coach Julie Hudnall.

School pictures are 8/18 and 8/19. Freshmen and sophomores will get their pictures taken on 8/18 and juniors and seniors will get their pictures taken on 8/19. All students will get their pictures taken during their English classes. Please see Mrs. Vens in room 211 with any questions.

Dr. Ulrich, Principal of Rock Island High School, is excited to meet the Rock Island community! Join us for a Meet the Principal Night on Wednesday, July 23, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Rock Island High School. The evening will begin with a brief presentation, followed by time to connect informally with Dr. Ulrich. Parents, students, and community members are all welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Doors open at 4:30 with a short presentation. Students will be able to walk around with their schedule to find their classrooms and lockers. Orientation will end at 6:30.
