Join us for a community dinner at @NEST Cafe on August 14th, from 5 - 8 p.m.! For the first time, our very own Rocky administrators will be volunteering during the evening meal, serving food, greeting guests, and connecting with the community.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy a delicious, pay-what-you-can meal! Come meet your administrators and celebrate the spirit of community PRIDE!

Any girls interested in playing tennis this fall should come to tryouts on Monday, August 11th. Tryouts will begin at 3:45. Please bring water and athletic wear. If you want to join the girls cross country team the first practice will be on Monday, August 11 at 3:45pm. Please meet at the fitness center, bring running apparel and a water bottle.

From the launch of the Reading Revolution community book club this summer to the first week of school, our district continues to inspire scholars to become lifelong readers!
On the first day of school, Superintendent Williams had the honor of visiting Mr. Mike Mertel’s freshman World Studies class to read "I Am You: A Book about Ubuntu".

Drama Club is having its first informational meeting on Thursday, August 14 at 3:30pm in Room 146. If you want to get involved in plays and musicals as a performer or technician, stop in and meet us!

School pictures are 8/18 and 8/19. Freshmen and sophomores will get their pictures taken on 8/18 and juniors and seniors will get their pictures taken on 8/19. All students will get their pictures taken during their English classes. Please see Mrs. Vens in room 211 with any questions.

Dr. Ulrich, Principal of Rock Island High School, is excited to meet the Rock Island community! Join us for a Meet the Principal Night on Wednesday, July 23, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Rock Island High School. The evening will begin with a brief presentation, followed by time to connect informally with Dr. Ulrich. Parents, students, and community members are all welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
Doors open at 4:30 with a short presentation. Students will be able to walk around with their schedule to find their classrooms and lockers. Orientation will end at 6:30.
