Please join us for our second Committee of the Whole meeting for the 2025–2026 school year tomorrow, September 23rd, at 6:00 PM at Denkmann Elementary.
The meeting will feature a presentation from Principal Versluis, a Budget Hearing and Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Approval, and a focused discussion on School Culture and Climate.

We’ve officially broken ground on the new Rock Island High School Aquatic Center!
Thank you to all of the partners and community members who made this possible and shared this moment with us! We’d like to extend our thanks to Russell Co, Legat Architects, IMEG, RTM Engineering Consultants, and Councilman-Hunsaker Aquatics for Life for their expertise and guidance.
Construction is expected to wrap up by December 2026, and we can’t wait to welcome you in for a swim!

Homecoming is Saturday, September 20 from 7-10 pm. Before you can purchase a ticket, you must clear your fees in the main office, have your detentions served, and have no OSS on your record. Tickets are $10 and go on sale at the bookstore window Monday, September 15, before school, during lunch, and after school. You must present your student ID to purchase tickets. If you are bringing a guest, you need to have a completed gold guest form when you purchase your guest's ticket. The ABSOLUTE LAST time to purchase a ticket will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 19.

Students do you have enough pride cards they you can buy your way out of up to an hour of detention. For 30 minutes you need to pay five cards and for 10 minutes you need to pay 10 cards.
