The Rock Island-Milan School District Board of Education met for an abbreviated regular meeting on Tuesday February 12 at Rock Island High School. The meeting agenda was shortened due to the inclement weather conditions.
At the meeting the board approved the Administrative Appointment of Jeff Whitaker as the Principal of Rock Island High School for the 2019-2020 school year. Whitaker has been serving as the Interim Principal of Rock Island High School since July 1, 2018.
"I have enjoyed being at Rocky for the last 7 months and I look forward to working with staff and students to do great things here at Rock Island High School," said Whitaker.
