Superintendent Dr. Mike Oberhaus announced to the Board of Education that he will be retiring from the school district earlier than expected. The Board of Education will have to officially approve the request at the regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, January 8.
In the meantime, the Board of Education is working on a contingency plan to secure an Interim Superintendent to provide a smooth transition for Dr. Reginald Lawrence II before he officially takes over as Superintendent on July 1, 2019.
