Rock Island High School is proud to announce that 8 student were named as All-State Musicians by the Illinois Music Educators Association. 

 

Students were selected through individual statewide auditions held in October where more than 285 Illinois schools participated. The students will perform in Peoria, January 23-26, with other top student musicians in Illinois at the IMEA All State Music Festival.

 

The Rock Island High School band program is directed by Pete Carlin; the choral program is directed by Scott Voigt; and the orchestra program is directed by Katie Benson.
