Students Have an Eye for Art Club

The Rock Island High School Art Club held an eye painting workshop on Thursday, Nov. 2. The event was part-art-project-part-fundraiser: the club accepted $5 or a winter clothing item for World Relief to attend.

Participants painted a portrait of their eyes on a rectangular board. The portraits will be hung together mosaic-style that will be part of a school-wide installation in the hallway.

Future workshops are being planned! For more information contact Art Teacher Addie Corby-Winn at [email protected]
