On March 28th, several Rock Island High School students were awarded for their artistic talents!
The Quad City Arts announced the winners of the 47th Annual High School Art Invitational to area high school students.
Congratulations to the following students who won awards in the following categories:
- Alexander VandeWalle - Juror’s Choice Awards for Artistic Excellence, Zimmerman Honda Award for Mastery of Technique
- Addison Bomelyn - Quad City Arts' Staff Pick
- Delaney Carroll - The Rock Island Art Guild Members’ Selection
- Maisy Woods, 1st place for W.C. Griffiths Award for Whimiscal Art
There were also teacher awards and RIHS art teacher Andy Gray placed third for his piece.
The communicate can come out to Quad City Arts and view all the work in person, the exhibit runs until April 24th. Check out all the artwork on display by Rock Island High School students.
