Rock Island High School has two student-athletes who walked away with State medals over the weekend. 

 

Truth Vesey and Andrew Marquez, both seniors earned State Medals at the State Championship tournament in Champaign. 

 

Rock Island High School had five wrestlers qualify for state and finished 4th as a team. Out of the five qualifiers, there were four medals, three finalists, and two State Champs!

 

Antonio Parker was a State Qualifier, Daniel McGhee placed 4th, and Amare Overton placed 2nd.
