Rock Island High School Counselors Kelly Preston and Julie Churchill along with a representative from ISAC (Illinois Student Assistance Commission) spent the morning on Nov. 24 helping Rocky seniors fill out college applications online.

 

High School counselors have a large role in helping students find the right college and helping them fill out applications. Mrs. Preston who puts the event together every year said applying to colleges can be a daunting task. "Applying for college can be stressful and sometimes confusing so we want to help make that process easier for our students and families," said Preston. 

 

Students who attended also receive free goodies.
