RIHS CNA Students Earn Certificates of Completion

On May 4, 18 Rock Island High School students earned their certificates for completing the Basic Nursing Assistant program at Rock Island High School.
 
The high school's Basic Nursing Assistant Program is a 2-semester long course that prepares students to becomes Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Once successfully creating the program and pass the Illinois state exam, the students will be able to be employed in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and clinics. 
 
"This is the beginning of their journey in the medical field. I am so proud of them," said Register Nurse, JoAnn Stribling who teaches the program.
