Congratulations to Rock Island High School student Favour Noya who won the JV Division at the Speech and Debate team's last competition! Favour competed in the Palatine Pirate Booty Invitational and finished tied for 6th place in the Varsity Division as well. 

 

Drew Jarding also competed with his Impromptu speech. The speech requires students to basically put together a 6-minute speech off the top of their heads. He finished 12th out of 40 competitors.
