On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, community members and RIMSD#41 current and retired staff members who are connected to historically black colleges and universities and/or members of the Divine Nine met with Rock Island High School students to share their knowledge and experiences. 

 

Some of the guests included Dr. Tiffany Stoner-Harris, a mother of an HBCU alum and Superintendent Dr. Lawrence a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity inc. 

 

The African American Heritage Club hopes to continue this event every year!
