The Harlem Quartet is spending a week in the Quad Cities, stopping by schools along the way. One of their stops was Rock Island High School.
The Harlem Quartet is a string quartet based out of New York. The group is a grammy-winning string quartet that performs classical and jazz music around the world.
Some Rock Island High School orchestra students got to listen to them play as well as hear their story how they made their passion a career.
The students were able to ask questions and get advice from the artists. Such a great learning experience!
