On August 28, Rock Island High School Students headed to the theatre for an afternoon of lifting each other up.

 

FearlesslyGIRL is an organization that is dedicated to empowering young women. The event gave students the opportunity to talk and connect with each other, and inspire them to be kinder to themselves and each other, while building a strong girl world in the process.

 

 

This was the 5th year the program has come to Rocky. The interactive event is specifically designed to target the unique challenges girls face and provides them with the tools and confidence to create a kinder, more supportive girl world. Girls participate in group discussions and activities designed to boost self-esteem and create a sense of sisterhood and support, and schools are given activities to keep the message of kindness going throughout the year.
