The Illinois High School Theatre Festival (IHSTF) is the largest and oldest non-competitive high school theatre festival in the nation. This year, IHSTF announced Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida as its 2020 All-State production.
Aida features a select ensemble of the top high school actors, technicians, and musicians from throughout the state of Illinois. Rock Island High Student, Demario Rankin was one of the high school students chosen across the state to be on the cast.
The three-day Festival takes place every year in early January and switches locations between the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Illinois State University. ISU will host the 2020 Festival from Thursday, January 9th to Saturday, January 11th.
