It’s become a tradition at Denkmann to give their sixth-grade students a proper good-bye before they enter high school.

On the last day of school, parents, staff, and students line the halls and outside of the front entrance of Denkmann Elementary School. 

Six grade students walk down the halls one last time, behind them, graduating Rock Island High School seniors, who are also former Denkmann students.

As they walk through staff and students clap and cheer them on. 

It's a way to say congrats and good luck on their next adventure.
