Dr. Patricia Ulrich

Principal, Rock Island High School, Rock Island, IL

Dr. Patty Ulrich joins Rock Island High School as Principal with more than 11 years of educational leadership experience. Her background includes serving as a middle school principal for three years and as a high school assistant principal for two years. She also brings valuable district-level experience, having held the roles of Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Educational Programming, as well as Director of English Language Arts.

Prior to joining the Rock Island-Milan School District, Dr. Ulrich was a dedicated leader in the Hazelwood School District in the St. Louis area for over a decade. Throughout her career, she has remained committed to placing students at the center of all decision-making and values strong partnerships with families and the community.

Outside of school, Dr. Ulrich enjoys spending time with her husband, Cameron Ulrich, and their four adult children. She loves to travel and camp, finding joy and renewal in the great outdoors.

She is proud to lead Rock Island High School and looks forward to continuing the tradition of excellence while fostering a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all scholars.
