Sophomores if you have not received your student ID, please go down to the Dean’s Complex during your Advisory today.
Spanish Club meets today in room 117 after school. Come have some Mexican pastries and play some games.
Attention: TOO MUCH LIGHT MAKES THE BABY GO BLIND Cast! Remember that you have rehearsal today from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm. Be sure to bring your scripts.
The German club will meet today after school from 3:30-4:30 in room 221. We will be watching the movie Shrek in German. All are welcome to attend!
LASO Club has been canceled for this afternoon.
CAN Rocky beat Moline at this Friday's football game? Of course, they CAN! Speaking of cans, take some to the game to get in for free! Students, you can cover your entrance fee with 3 cans or non-perishable food items, 5 for adults. The food you bring will be collected for Rocky's Student Hunger Drive.
Homecoming Dance tickets are on sale! Tickets can be bought at the Bookstore before and after school, or during lunch, and will be $10. YOU MUST HAVE AN ID BADGE to purchase tickets
Upper Iowa University will be at the high school on Monday, Sept 20, from 11:30 to 1:00 in the counseling office. If you would like to stop by during that time to learn more about the university, please see Mrs. Shaffer in the counseling office for a pass.
SOUP will be having a meeting next Tuesday after school (9/21/21). Please bring new ideas for the school year and there will be snacks!

As always, any costumes must still follow the school dress code. That includes no hats or hoods. Any violations will be dealt with accordingly.
Seniors, remember to get your senior picture taken at Photographic Arts by the end of October Break. If you do not get your picture taken, you will not be in the yearbook. You can call them at 309.762.6662 to schedule your appointment. Pictures from other photographers will not be accepted.
You have until Winter Break to purchase your yearbook. Yearbooks can be purchased in room 211 before or after school. Orders will not be taken after Winter Break. No extras will be ordered.
African American Heritage Club Historical Moment on music: Other famous blues singers were Bessie Smith, Ethel Waters, and Clara Smith, who all recorded for Columbia records.
