Announcements for November 30

The African American Heritage Club will meet tomorrow after school in room 152. 

Just a reminder that Study Club will meet this Wednesday. Study Club will meet on the following dates: December 8th, 9th, 10th, 13th, 14th, and 15th to catch up on any work before Finals! There will be snacks every day!

The German club is selling chocolate advent calendars for $5 in room 221.

EAC members, please don't forget to sign up for Bald Eagle Days. no meeting this week.

The University of Wisconsin-Platteville will be visiting Rocky on Thursday, Dec. 2nd from 11:30 to 1:00 in the counseling office. If you would like to meet with the school, please see Mrs.
Shaffer in the counseling office for a pass.

If you have not purchased your 21-22 yearbook you have until Winter Break to do so.  Years can be purchased online at www.yearbookordercenter.com (Search Rock Island High School), or in room 211.  Yearbooks cost $50.  No extras will be ordered.  Don’t miss out!

The African American Heritage Club would like to recognize African American politicians during the month of November. Roland Burris became the first African American to work as a national bank examiner for the Treasury Department, the first African American to win a statewide election in Illinois, became attorney general of Illinois, and was appointed to the Senate on December 31, 2008.
