Rock Island High School Theatre Department's fall production of the Show Must Go On has been selected to perform at the 2019 Illinois High School Theatre Festival (IHSTF), the largest and oldest non-competitive high school theatre festival in the nation.

 

Now in its 44th consecutive year, the Illinois High School Theatre Festival (IHSTF) brings together over 4,500 students, teachers, university representatives, exhibitors, and volunteers come to put on theatrical workshops and various high school productions. 

 

"This is a great honor for our program and will be a great learning experience for our theatre students," said Rock Island High School Theatre teacher Dori Foster. "In addition to performing in front of thousands of other students from throughout the state, our students will attend workshops and have a chance to see other high school productions."
