Several Rock Island High School Art students received awards at the 41st Annual High School Invitational at Quad City Arts in downtown Rock Island. 

 

Lindsey Abel – Left Bank Art League 1st place;

Allison Nickel – Don Heggen Watercolor 1st place;

Sydney Branson- Rock Island Arts Guild Drawing 1st place;

Deasia Hickman – Juror’s Choice 1st place.

 

The Quad City Arts Show is in downtown Rock Island through May 3rd. See great high school artists’ work by Hannah Wright, Grant Florence, Ava Miller, Jaden Coakley, and Alisia Sarver. 

 

Rock Island High School art teacher Andy Gray won second place in the Teacher category.
